I was excited to hear the accounts of life after death experiences but I was disappointed to hear the religious spin he put on all of them! It’southward just some other Bible thumper trying to explain the science behind our souls leaving our body and of course information technology’south all in God’s hands! Please don’t tell people that they are going to have a great human relationship with their loved ones in heaven when they didn’t have one while they were alive! You don’t know that!!

The question “what happens subsequently we die?” is what begins the journey down the rabbit hole. After looking at why people are afraid to die, the movie looks at what nosotros do to “live forever” or exit a legacy, and how we know there is something afterward this life. From interviews that experience like 2 friends having a conversation to recounting stories of virtually-death experiences, witnesses offer testimony to back up the case for sky. I already had my reply to the Case for Heaven, merely that doesn’t hateful the picture show was tedious in an “I already know the ending” kind of manner. The employ of such a variety of witnesses makes this quite a thought-provoking movie. Each person has their own testimony – and they aren’t all proverb the same thing. The pic is fabricated even more than enjoyable to watch because of how beautiful it is. Information technology is very well done, the various locations, the buildings (gorgeous churches, cemeteries), the music, etc. come together to create a movie that is a delight for the senses.

I would recommend this awe-inspiring documentary well-nigh Sky, hell, and what happens when nosotros dice. I liked hearing of Lee Strobel’s personal story about his nigh-death feel. The doctors told him, “You’re 1 step abroad from a coma, two steps away from dying.” He was diagnosed with hyponatremia. I liked how he spend most of the moving picture exploring death and what nosotros tin learn from others who experienced well-nigh death experiences. I liked hearing about some of their experiences and it makes you wonder what Heaven volition really be like. I liked how the film shared insights from Luis Palau, Francis Chan, a few scientists, and everyday people. Some of them even became believers. I of my favorite interviews presented in this flick was the original lead vocalist of Hawk Nelson, Jonathan Steingard. He was in the band for near 16 years. It was interesting hearing how he chose to requite up on God. He wrote many of the Hawk Nelson songs and to see him fall abroad from his faith was heartbreaking. I was honestly surprised to hear why he decided to post why he stopped believing in God. The post doesn’t appear online any longer. He also shared his thoughts on the reality of hell and death. I will admit I didn’t really listen to a lot of Hawk Nelson growing upwards and I accept only heard a few songs on the radio. But the ones I take heard I’m surprised how he just stopped believing especially when he so wrote some of the lyrics. I loved this documentary and it volition be very eye opening and information technology helped encouraged yous to hold fast to your faith until you get to the other side.

Then disappointing. I left unconvinced and bored, and I was a captive audience and a believer. Such a waste of time and coin

Loved it, my mom’s a christian and she’s e’er request me to go with her to spotter all kinds of ‘christian films’ her church building promotes, this 1 was really unlike tho and I truly appreciated the artistic value of it – loved the music and I actually came here to search for whoever the guy singing in his pianoforte was. Now about the movie… I truly liked it, It’s non extremely preachy, nor tries super hard to evidence the point that christians are right and the residuum of us are incorrect, it actually gives space to uncertainty and one of my favorite parts was the ex-christian guy. Ultimately it still delivers that same ‘christian’ message but this time it actually got me thinking and questioning some stuff about my own spiritual life, just then I see all the negative reviews from CHRISTIANS? that blew my listen! that’s why I’chiliad rating 5 stars. I would charge per unit information technology 3.v under normal circumstances, but just idea that the rating was kinda unfair.

After reading some of the reviews to this movie, I was a flake perplexed. Having seen the film, itself, I believe it truly is a remarkable piece of art that has staying power and really compels someone to think outward. This picture show is beautifully shot and a fun journeying to accept. The perplexing part, I’m finding, is that some viewers want everything handed to them as if the world is non up to interpretation. We are all our own beings and nosotros are all capable of using our imaginations. When it comes to a instance for Heaven, I recollect information technology is 100% up to a persons’ estimation and perception. The fact that anyone would actually expect someone to set out and “prove” what Heaven is, is mind-boggling to me. This picture show gives you lot the chance to have what is at that place in front of us and brand up our minds and actually dive into our personal behavior. For those of you that are incapable of doing this, I feel sorry for. And if you’re someone who needs everything spelled out literally right in forepart of you, and then this film is not for y’all. In fact, no film is for you, really. All in all, I don’t want others’ opinions to de-runway mine. I thought the film did a fantastic task of provoking many questions that I have had inside of myself for about of my developed life. After leaving the theater, I plant myself still thinking of the flick a couple days later while lying in bed and fifty-fifty nevertheless to this very day. It really did stick with me. Of course the movie did not “bear witness” Sky actually exists, as I believe that is a cracking impossibility. It did, still, open my mind into thinking well-nigh the way I perceive this world we are in and really make me contemplate what truly might happen when I die. I don’t believe it’south truly meant to stroke anyone’south beliefs. I believe information technology’s meant to say what theirs and others’ are and let you decide what you want to do with that. Information technology truly is a think-piece. Bravo!

The Case for Heaven is a great presentation of the bear witness the at that place is a life after expiry. Lee Strobel brings the evidence together in a very logical way that I recall helps to point out some of the route blocks that people may have that cause them struggle with overcoming the idea of Heaven or Hell. Some people who make negative comments regarding the interview with the onetime Hawk Nelson band member must have missed the proceeding scene where Lee Strobel addresses the issues he brought up. He explains how God is not unjust and unloving who sends his children to hell, rather it is our choice, he is offering united states the souvenir of Sky with him but nosotros have to accept that souvenir otherwise we choose the alternative. Scripture makes this very articulate, and I call up the flick likewise makes this argument very well. I think it was good to have the Hawk Nelson band member featured because many who scout the film may struggle in the same manner he is, and will get to hear Lee Strobel address those very issues. Overall I really enjoyed this film and hearing all of the testimonies and the near death experiences offset hand by those interviewed in the picture show. I loved hearing each persons unique insight and responses to Mani’south questions and I think Mani did a cracking task guiding the conversations throughout the flick.

All in all I’thousand not a churchgoer nor interested in apologetics, simply this one was entertaining and beautifully shot . In my experience this was the start religious documentary that is comfortable with request difficult questions and however non having correct and definitive answers. Even tho the premise is to ‘defend heaven’ it does it in a style that is heartfelt and warm, no condescendence bs or ‘black and white’ answers, typically portrayed in this kind of films. I could say is a feel-expert documentary
