Non all phones have that app. I am 99% certain that Pixels do not. It’due south probably an understanding between Samsung and Verizon.

I don’t think there is such a thing as “subconscious” apps. I recollect yous mean it’south a System App and to come across information technology you have to select the “Show System Apps” option when viewing the list of apps.

It’south not “spam”, it’s just a preloaded app by Samsung and Verizon. Preloaded is not spam. If yous don’t want to use it… disable information technology. Like shooting fish in a barrel. Simple. If y’all find afterwards y’all practise need it…enable it. Easy. Simple.

Information technology is non a spam since information technology is a preloaded app and yous can disable it if you desire.

It is spam, since it is adware installed on your device without your knowledge or permission. And while you can disable it, information technology tin reactivate itself at a afterwards date. Today will be the tertiary time I’ve disabled information technology on my phone.
